Gasaway Safety Solutions slated to present for Jefferson Lab

January 15, 2022

Gasaway Safety Solutions has been contracted to conduct a situational awareness training program for managers at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility located in Newport News, Virginia, on February 9, 2022.  Due to Facility’s COVID restrictions on public gatherings, the event will be held virtually.

“We are really excited for the opportunity to work with the Jefferson Lab and their management team to provide a world-class virtual event for their management team. The training will focus on helping their 700+ employees improve situational awareness and high-risk decision making,” noted Dr. Richard B. Gasaway, President of Gasaway Consulting Group.

Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab) is a U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science national laboratory. Scientists worldwide utilize the lab’s unique particle accelerator, known as the Continuous Electron Beam Accelerator Facility (CEBAF), to probe the most basic building blocks of matter – helping us to better understand these particles and the forces that bind them – and ultimately our world.

In addition, the lab capitalizes on its unique technologies and expertise to perform advanced computing and applied research with industry and university partners, and provides programs designed to help educate the next generation in science and technology.

Gasaway Safety Solutions, a subsidiary of Gasaway Consulting Group, LLC, headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, focuses on helping individuals and teams understand human error, reduce the impact of situational awareness barriers, and improve high-risk decision making.
